Cupping score: 88

Harvested from a farm nestled in the Alto de Partidas region at an altitude of 1,900 meters above sea level, this exceptional coffee comes from 25.6 hectares in the picturesque municipality of Villamaría, within the Caldas Department of Colombia. This municipality, along with Neira, Palestina, Chinchiná, and Manizales, forms the heart of the south-central subregion. Thanks to its privileged location, the coffees cultivated in this farm such as Geisha, Bourbon, Tabi, Costa Rica, and Cenicafe 1 stand out for their remarkable qualities, offering a cup brimming with depth, vibrant fruitiness, and a complexity that only the high-altitude land can impart.

This exquisite coffee, celebrated for its high citric acidity, lemongrass, citronella and orange, notes of hibiscus, caramel, honey and white vanilla, finds its way to Tinto through Francia, who has embraced her father’s legacy in coffee cultivation as part of her family’s tradition. With unwavering dedication, she strives to create a remarkable cup that honours her family, the land, and the values of love, respect, and commitment. Francia meticulously ensures that each cup upholds the highest quality standards, offering a specialty coffee that, above all, captures the warmth and profound meaning of home.
